Description
This fern has had several name changes – previously Doodia australis, and before that Doodia media. It sprouts bright pink new fronds that gradually turn light then dark green, and the contrast of three different shades at once makes it very attractive. Forms a spreading colony; very hardy and can adapt to most situations including indoors and in rockeries. At its best in light shade with evenly moist soil. New Zealand native Blechnum fern.
