Description
Rust-coloured felt on the undersides of leaves; glossy green on top. Evergreen; growing to 7 m tall × 5 m wide – plan the area well before selecting this tree. Has large, fragrant, creamy flowers. Work over soil well and water in; stake the tree to ensure a nice erect trunk develops. Neutral pH to slightly acidic soil; keep a good mulch around the roots to avoid drying out. Part of Magnolia family.
