Description
Originated from a seedling of the Tahitian Lime. Largish fruit, thin-skinned, juicy but acidic. Reasonably cold hardy – similar to lemon in that regard, so will withstand frosts. Plant in a sunny position, best in an area protected from strong winds. Fertilise with a citrus fertiliser twice per year – early spring and mid-summer. Fruits most of the year round, with June–August and February–March being the best periods. Part of Limes family.
