Description
A New Zealand native fern that comes in two types – a trunked form and a prostrate form. We stock the trunked form, which is quite rare, difficult to grow, and frost sensitive. As a tree fern it only reaches about 2 m of trunk height and needs reasonable shade and shelter from strong winds. The prostrate type is a ground-creeping fern found even in Scotland. A part of Dicksonia family.
