Description
From the Highlands of New Guinea, with striking lacy, coppery-brown fronds. Unusual among tree ferns in that it prefers sun rather than shade and is tolerant of wind. This part of Cyathea family will reach up to 150 cm in height with fronds stretching to 1–2 m. Susceptible to thrips – keep an eye out and spray with a recommended insecticide if evident.
