Description
The most popular New Zealand tree fern – easy to grow and maintain. It grows a tall, slender, brown trunk up to approximately 6 m high with fronds reaching 1.5–3 m in length. Trunks are often used for fencing or edging, and fronds will sometimes sprout from the side if the top is dead. Has been successfully re-grown in the EU and USA after being exported from New Zealand. A part of Dicksonia family.
