Description
A Japanese variety – non-astringent. Fruit ripens in autumn, and for landscaping this tree has the advantage of being very ornamental with autumn leaves turning yellow/orange/red. Plant in full sun, protected from wind; avoid wet, heavy soils. Avoid heavy nitrogen-based fertilisers. Part of Diospyros family.
