Description
The majestic King Fern – sadly not as common in the wild as it once was due to grazing by goats, pigs and deer. Has beautiful dark green fronds that can reach 3.5–4 m in length. Forms increasing clumps; small plants grow around the base and can be removed and replanted. Needs shade, frost protection and constant moisture to look its best. Hard to grow from spore.
