Description
A very cold hardy New Zealand native fern with long, dark green fronds that are almost prickly to touch and can reach up to 1.5 m in length. Will slowly increase in size to form a clump. Can tolerate wind provided the soil remains moist; better suited to a cold climate. Part of Polystichum family.
