Description
An epiphytic fern that grows successfully on ponga or trees, feeding from bark and decaying matter. Very drought hardy – do not overwater, but do not allow it to dry out completely either. Frost tender in New Zealand – cover with frost cloth in winter. Can grow to quite a large size and produces young plantlets from the parent plant. Note: the photo shown on the website is of a mature plant – what we sell is a single-fronded fern. Part of Platycerium family.
