Description
A deciduous, cold hardy fern with upright fronds resembling a shuttlecock, producing lovely fresh green new growth in spring. Spreads by runners – needs space to spread itself out, but monitor as it can become invasive. Likes boggy areas most of all; will tolerate sun provided roots are kept moist. Not a New Zealand native. Part of Matteucia family.
