Description
Sometimes called the Miniature Tree Fern due to its short, thin, woody trunk reaching up to 1 m. Dark green, jagged-looking fronds can reach up to 40 cm and make an interesting ground cover. Can be difficult to establish but well suited to warmer climates and dry, heavy clay soil. New Zealand native. Part of Blechnum family.
