Description
A beautiful New Zealand native fern with bright green, upright fronds (up to 1 m long) forming a distinctive crown shape. Long, dark brown fertile fronds stand upright in the centre. With age, forms a short trunk and establishes an increasing colony around it. Looks great mass-planted under trees; best in dappled light, though will tolerate a sunny position if the soil is kept moist. Part of Blechnum family.
