Description
A good coastal fern that can be very striking in rock gardens. Roots must be kept cool and moist for best effect. Dark green, fleshy-looking fronds with a length varying between 10 and 60 cm. Found around the New Zealand coastline from North Cape to North Taranaki and Bay of Plenty, and again from Wellington southwards. New Zealand native Asplenium fern.
